the Bride and Groom, Michelle and Rich: There are in the end three things that last: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. Love is patient; love is kind; love is not jealous; love never fails. This is a day to celebrate, honor and share together these special bonds of "love" and "marriage." I am truly grateful to be able to share this wonderful day with two very special, loving and caring friends. This is a time for joy, laughter, and excitement as there are new life long memories to be made. It is also a time to honor the beginning. Beginnings hold the promises of new lessons to be learned, new territory to be explored, and old lessons to be recalled and practiced and appreciated. Beginnings hold ambiguity, promise, fear, and hope. Together, you have begun a new journey. Let it be magical and let it unfold. Michelle, Remember when we thought we were so cool and we bought our matching fluorescent outfits, or when we taught aerobics in your backyard. Well - we have made a lot of memories together, but now our memories will include Rich. And I look forward to the three of us making more memories to come. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller, Thank you for giving all of us something to reach for. Your love and genuine caring for each other is something to be envied by all. Who would have thought the tall, good-looking guy who worked at Food-4-Less would capture the heart of one of my dearest friends? At times it felt that we may have lost "one of the girls" but really we gained another special person, affectionately known as Richy. I knew Richy was the man for Michelle because no man short of a saint could put up with all of Michelle's wild and crazy friends! Many of my fondest college memories involved going to Richy's house for dinner. Michelle would invite 20 of her closest friends and her and Rich would cook wonderful dinners that would be talked about for days. Thanks to you both for keeping us from starving. letter to Mr. and Mrs. Rich Miller: As my life has progressed I have been blessed with many wonderful people who have come and gone from my life. I thank God every day for those people that have come into my life and have remained there. Thankfully, the two of you are not only part of my life four years after our first encounter, but I also get to share in the day that you acknowledge the wonderfulness of each other and promise to be together forever. Today I would like to thank the two of you for being an inspiration on friendship and love, and to also wish you the best lifetime anyone could hope for. Rich and Michelle Miller, This is not the easiest letter to write, there is so much I want to say but words so often fall short of the feelings I truly want to convey. I have been with you both since the beginning of your relationship, and I have watched it grow and change. I know that I am so very lucky to have been chosen to be a part of your union, you are both so incredibly special to me. Since you are the first of my best friends to take this amazing step in your lives I am not in a position to impart any experienced wisdom or advice. All I know is that you love each other, everything else will work because of this. You both are such wonderful people and you are so lucky to have found each other. I want to wish you the best in your marriage, but I know that doesn't even say how truly happy I am for you and how I know that you two are so right together.
